Justin Bieber's Mom Has to Approve His Girlfriends

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez showed up arm-in-arm at the Vanity Fair Oscar party on Sunday, going public with a relationship his fans had known about since early January. The singer has said he wouldn’t want to enter a relationship with a “bad girl” because he knows his mom Pattie Mallette wouldn’t welcome her into their home.

He said: “I wouldn’t bring home a girl unless my mom would approve. You don’t bring the bad girls home to mom.”

The Never Say Never star -- who celebrated his 17th birthday Tuesday -- also admitted he has no preference about the age of the girls he dates. Asked if he likes older women, he said in an interview with a Sirius XM radio station: “I’m into women in general.”

Justin also spoke about his influences and inspirations, insisting there is no one star whose career he wants to mimic.

He added: “I don’t think I want to emulate anyone’s career. But just take different bits and pieces from different people. Definitely Michael Jackson, and lately I’ve been really studying Fred Astaire.”

Justin Bieber celebrated his 17th birthday Tuesday with his grandma, his friend, Chris Brown, and his girlfriend, Selena Gomez, who planned a surprise party at The Grove in Los Angeles. However, after getting dinner together, Bieber and Gomez were joined by a number of unwelcomed guests, the paparazzi.
E! News reports, with photographers surrounding Bieber and Gomez as they tried to make their way to their car, Bieber, annoyed, flipped the paparazzi off.
"Had a great bday and at the end of the night we got surrounded by paps,” Bieber wrote on Twitter. He did apologize for how he acted, adding, “I reacted in a way I know better. I’m sorry," he tweeted. "It’s not always easy but I know better than to react in anger."
Later, he tweeted, “life has it's ups and downs but u guys r always there 4 me. I will make my mistakes but I promise 2 continue 2 grow with u and try 2 do rt. So thank u for a great bday and an amazing gift of charity to help others. another year but still the same kid. still grateful.”

He set the gossip mill abuzz when he chopped off his wispy locks, and Justin Bieber's hair was sold on eBay for a tidy sum.
The “Baby” singer gave a lock of his coif to Ellen DeGeneres who then put the hair up for auction. And earlier today it sold for $40,668.

Of course, the money raised will all go to charity, specifically the animal rescue organization The Gentle Barn Foundation.
Additionally, the winning bidder will be invited to hang with Bieber the next time he appears on the “Ellen DeGeneres” show.

Justin Bieber Celebrates 17th with Selena Gomez

Making for quite the romantic birthday excursion, Justin Bieber enjoyed a loved-up outing with Selena Gomez in Beverly Hills, CA on Tuesday (March 1).

The cute couple spent Biebs 17th b-day at a local shopping center as they picked up purchases at Dolce & Gabbana and Louis Vuitton - where the two shared a few intimate hugs giving Justin a big birthday boy smile.

Justin and Selena then stopped at PinkBerry, where Justin got a sweet treat to-go.
The mall outing comes after Bieber and Gomez reportedly had an early celebration by booking a $6,000-a-night suite at the St Regis Monarch Beach hotel in Dana Point, California.
Of the romantic west coast stay, a source told Hollywood Life, "For the most part, Justin and Selena wanted to be left alone. They didn’t have bodyguards or parents with them, but there was an emergency contact list at the front desk with numbers for a bodyguard and some of their people’s info if they needed it in any way."

The Biebster, who turns seventeen on 1st March, has claimed that he is looking forward to having a "relaxing" birthday, eating cheesecake with his grandparents.
Speaking about his birthday plans to E! Online, the Baby singer admitted: "I only have, like, four days, so I'm just going to relax because I start my world tour on March 4 so just going to mentally prepare and just relax."

He explained: "No birthday bash... Hopefully my grandparents will be out here and I'll be able to spend time, a little bit, with them. My grandma makes the best cheesecake, cherry cheesecake. She made it for my 13th birthday."
Hmmm, sounds very rock 'n' roll! While we wonder when our invite to JB's b'day celebrations will arrive, Justin also addressed the decision to cut off his famous floppy fringe earlier this week.

The One Time hitmaker claimed: "I just wanted to that's all, not really a big reason; I just woke up and said, 'I don't want this anymore,' so I just cut it."
Bieber added: "It's not really about that. The fans really liked it, but they'll like me no matter what, because I think it's about the music. I'm really excited to see what the fans overseas think and take it day by day."

Justin Bieber has some die-hard fans, as evidenced by their scary, even dangerous, dedication to the singer, and unfortunately there's only so much of the Biebs to go around.

Luckily for true Beliebers, fans can now get up close and personal with the star without facing legal repercussions, thanks to the addition of a Justin Bieber wax figure at the famous Madame Tussauds museum.

The 'Never Say Never' star expressed his enthusiasm about the release of the wax figure. "I'm honored to be getting my own wax figures at Madame Tussauds New York, London and Amsterdam," said Bieber. "To be immortalized in wax alongside some of my idols -- Michael Jackson, Prince, Beyonce and my mentor, Usher -- is incredibly exciting and very cool."
Bieber, who released photos of the haircut heard around the world yesterday, has been keeping busy in the time between concerts and running away from hordes of screaming girls, even finding time to win MVP at last week's NBA All-Star Game in LA.

The wax figure, which sports Bieber's classic, feathered 'do, will be revealed at Madame Tussauds in March.

The florist in question agreed to try, but it took every flower in the shop (literally) to fill the order.  Several trucks were brought in to transport the flowers to Selena’s house, and the flowers were waiting for her in her house when she got home.  What a nice surprise for Justin’s girlfriend!  Oh, wait… are they still claiming not to be dating?

Justin Bieber's bomb-making baddie was taken down on an episode of CSI on Thursday. His character was shot and killed after pulling a out a nine and squeezing off a few rounds on the cops before they had a chance to open fire.

For those unfamiliar with the show, Justin appeared on an earlier episode as a sort of nationalistic neo-revolutionary with a knack for making nasty bombs. In Thursday's episode his story was wrapped up nicely as police saw through his manipulations and lies and ended up killing him in a glorious hail of bullets already making the rounds as an awesome animated gif for all those Bieber haters out there.

Either way you've got to hand it to the Bieb. His hair stays charmingly floppy even when he's being shot by police.
